This game is absolutely massive, probably only rivalled by Cultured 2 in terms of scope and polish, and that's a collab medley, so the fact that this is all original content made by one guy is nothing short of legendary. The length is totally justified as well by the incredible variety in mechanics the game throws at you, pretty much all of which I enjoyed.
I could keep gushing for a while about all the stages, quality of life features, fantastic music and really just about every aspect of the game, but plenty of people have already done all that for me. Just know that it's an absolute must play. Kurath is god.

The needle in this game is pretty alright, nothing too standout, but I do very much appreciate the Kingdom Hearts music in the last two areas. SourPls
The avoidance I wasn't a big fan of, mostly because of the complete clown fiesta that is the second attack. Bullet-firing orbs come from the left and right and go pretty close to the middle, forcing you to go back and forth quite far to reasonably dodge, but whether the RNG will let you do that is anyone's guess. The rest is mostly pretty fun, but this attack ruined the fight for me.

From the moment you hit shift on the start screen, you know you're in for some serious visual flair with this game. It's beautiful, and hey the effects can even be turned down, which is always something my laptop appreciates. The kid's scarf is also adorable and should be added to the standard sprite for every game.
As for the needle design itself, it's a solid showcase of the various creators' different styles. There isn't a bad stage among them. I wish I could say more, but it's just damn solid needle. Plasma's stage is a departure from the style of the rest of the game, but I think it's appropriate for being the final one and it's pretty fantastic either way.
Overall, one of my favourite needle games. Highly recommended.

The stages in this game are all quite unique and memorable, both production and gameplay wise. Same goes for the bosses, though it has to be said that most of them kind of pale in comparison difficulty-wise to the platforming. Otherwise, I have some gripes with a few individual stages, though since Wahfuu already listed them off exactly, I won't bother (seriously though, screw that save in the water tower).

The needle in this game is only a couple of screens. I don't know why the second screen exists, it's pretty dumb and bad, but whatever.
The avoidance is very fun. The visuals and breakneck pace of the fight match the song perfectly. My main gripes are with some of the attacks firing at you so fast that, even though the bullets are fairly sparse, it feels like bad luck can screw you over more often than I'd like. For me this was particularly an issue with the attacks that fire bullets from closely under the platform. It didn't ruin the experience though, good times were had.
