still to this day a unique and easily-recognizable classic beginner needle game with some quite intuitive and interesting needle design, especially considering its release date being more than 12 years ago. last stage has some of the most classic path trolls ever.
my only complaint is that the clear screen is similar to the wrong way screen, which makes me think some people reached the wrong way screen(s) and figured: "yeah, that's the end of the game, cool" and then considered that a clear lol

quite difficult non-standard L-game. non-standard as in, less intricate and complex as most L-games are. there is no real required tech knowledge or anything of that sort, as long as you can cancel and/or 1f you can beat this game. the hardest save by far is the triple upward plane corner (save 4) and save 6 because it's the longest save in the game - essentially being like 5 bad jumps in a row. save 4's main difficulty (the triple plane concoction) is preluded by a double downward water plane. it’s just a small stutter and an otherwise trivial jump. the main complaint with this jump is that it “breaks up the pace” of the save, directly making the jump after it much harder. however, I disagree with tuhkakuppi on this, as I think this gives your brain time to rest, therefore making the hard jump easier, not harder. the rest of the saves tho are either quite easy or standardly difficult

essentially a bunch of bosses with a bunch of so-called "platforming" between them. it's so basic and generic that it essentially serves as bloat to make the game not just one big boss rush. I don't understand why this is required, there isn't anything wrong with making a game that's just bosses. I won't focus on the platforming though, since it's so insignificant and useless, and instead I'll talk a bit about the bosses. not much though since there isn't much to say
generally half-baked, lame bosses with like one main twist that only gets amplified later on when you inevitably have to fight their harder variants. you have to find 6 bosses, find 6 secrets in their respective areas (which are required for further progression), then defeat harder variants of the 6 bosses, of which none are notable except Miku, which is now like at max 20% harder. then you unlock shiron, the penultimate boss. this boss has like a million HP and invincibility frames. thankfully, you can spam your shoot key and don't have to time shots like you do with all the other bosses in this game. the boss itself is notably harder than the others, with the last attack being much harder than any other. dying here will cost you several minutes of your life which you will never get back. that isn't just this boss though, later this "losing minutes of your life" idea gets much worse, as the next boss you fight is going to be an extremely boring Miku fight. the previous Miku fight at least has a good song you can enjoy. this one though? it's a "30bpm Miku serenading you into a deep sleep for like 6 minutes" type song. the avoidance is similarly slow-paced, with two awesome luck checks that define the difficulty of the fight. there is some know-how as to where to go on certain attacks, but everything can be figured out pretty easily if you've played a Miku avoidance before. oh yeah and there's some slightly notable platforming before this boss, as it's the largest amount of consecutive platforming areas the entire game has. unfortunately, they're just rehashed screens you've already played with a few original ones tacked on at the end for good measure.
but hey, at least you get one of the best Miku songs for the end credits!!!!
recommended if you have trouble falling asleep and can't afford melatonin

very bad and old Tokoroten game with two screens filled with dogshit 32px slop needle incarnate. this game wouldn't be difficult at all if not for the 3rd save being the 2nd hardest one in the game. this save alone is filled with atrocious jumps, most notably the forced 17-something-odd frame right in the middle of it, followed by an invert and a pretty uncontrollable and difficult cancel right before the last diagonal. I died to this last diagonal twice and both times didn't feel real. I have no idea how I was that incapable of doing a singular diagonal after that entire clusterfuck of a save. the save before the 100 gates is also quite bad, likely the actual hardest save in the game. all the movements are uncomfortable and just kinda suck to do. 100 gates aren't as hard as they sound (if that even sounds hard)
not recommended, even if you're able to clear this you shouldn't

odd little trap game with 10 or so screens in total. traps aren't that interesting and boil down to invisible spikes, instagibs and other boring trap stuff. gimmick on the first screen might be a bit hard to figure out making the intended route a bit complicated. the idea is to go to the left, then dismount the up block, then go on the textbox, then jump across the screen to an invisible block on the next screen. from there everything else should be fairly straightforward.
