a true classic everyone knows but perhaps isn’t guaranteed to like. this game is very simple and doesn’t require a ton of figuring out what to do, as it’s mostly just reading. in some ways that would make this game something I’d like to call ‘junk food avoidance’. it’s nothing sophisticated, interesting or profound. it’s just some simple RNG on a plain white background with a really damn good song. that’s all there is to it, and I’m a sucker for these kinds of games. I simply adore simple, iconic stuff like this. I can’t really defend it at all

a simple Carnival game from not too far back in the day compared to some of his games. there isn’t much to comment on, it’s just a simple and easy Carnival game with the same stuff you’d expect in all of his games: some simple and fun bosses, some simple and fun platforming with a few clever traps and an avoidance or two. typically you’d also see a boss rush with harder variants of the bosses, but this game only has three bosses so it wouldn’t work and it’d feel like bloat. it makes for a quick clear, there’s nothing to really get stuck on. even the final avoidance is really easy to learn and just requires some remembering where to go

surprisingly, the best game of the LTO series. it’s not a super great one or anything, but it’s just alright. it should be somewhat worrying every time I begin a review with the word “surprisingly”. this game is fairly standard for the LTO series and doesn’t do much new, other than the final save being one of the most iconic ancient precision saves ever made. a long walk, followed by a simple diagonal and an even simpler raised platform triple diamond. it’s a bit of a joke nowadays, as it’s such a ridiculous and silly idea for a save. I additionally have the belief I’m the first person who has ever first tried this save, believe it or not. that has nothing to do with the game, I just felt really cool for a second. there’s also one platform save on the first screen which is quite hard and requires some difficult lowcancels. there’s some luck required to get a good vstring and not randomly die when landing on the next platform. the maneuver itself is inconsistent as all hell and is really damn difficult. every other save is fairly simple if you have some precision skill. I’m glad there’s no direct LTO 6. I have no idea what Leehe would’ve come up with next

a common trope of annoying precision games is to have inadequately placed saves that make you walk for miles until you reach the right position to start whatever movement is required, only to die instantly several hundreds, if not thousands of times. this game is the greatest embodiment of that idea. every single save requires a painful and agonizing amount of waiting. it’s simply inhuman to make a precision game this difficult and have the saves be in such inconvenient and uncomfortable places
to be entirely fair, only two saves are super difficult - the 1st and 3rd saves. saves 2 and 4 aren’t as bad but are still quite terrible by any decent precision standards. the first save is by far the biggest roadblock in this game, as it starts you with the bad align for it. I believe this is entirely unintentional, but some part of me wants to think that Leehe made this THIS inconvenient and evil on purpose. it isn’t even an entertaining kind of evil either, it’s just plain, vitriolic evil. the game requires a few precise 1fs and cancels, but since it’s so short and irrelevant as a game, odds are if you’re playing this in the first place you already have the skill to beat it (and then some). all of the movements are viciously uncomfortable and unsatisfying to execute, minus save 3 I suppose
this game holds a very special title in my eyes. LTO 4 is singlehandedly one of the worst, most evil precision games to date, yet it’s one of the shortest I’ve ever seen. its sheer ability to give you the intense feeling that you’re wasting your time is remarkable. every single walk feels like a mile and it never really seems to end while you’re playing it. perhaps you may feel the opposite way: if you wanna slow down time, you might as well play this game. time will feel like it’s at a complete and total halt
also I doubt it’s harder than Last TIS

won’t give difficulty rating to not disturb the flat 100, game would be a 62 with the last save nerfed to be possible
just barely maintains regular LTO-series difficulty progression by being barely harder than its predecessors. this isn’t all too relevant since the game is impossible, so I’ll only refer to the possible mod. generic corridor precision with a few interesting saves, like saves 2 and 4. they’re also the hardest, while the rest are trivial if you can cancel somewhat well
