Rating based on Medium 100% (not including Boss Rush because I have no intent of doing that at the moment).
I Wanna Be The GB is one of THE classic adventure games, earning itself a spot among some of the most famous in fangame history. The game itself takes A LOT of inspiration from IWBTG's design philosophy, but doesn't quite recreate the magic that made it so special originally. There are still traps all over the place, but the unpredictability of it doesn't quite measure up to the level of excitement that Guy gave off. Also, the game still has many retro game references, but this time, limiting itself to only use sources from the Nintendo Game Boy—games ranging in obscurity (at least to the west) from "カエルの為に鐘は鳴る" to "Tetris", and everything in between—hence the game's title.
The design is exactly what you would expect out of 2009, flying spike traps and all. Still, it clearly displays a lot of creativity, especially for this era, so I will give it some credit for that. The bosses are also kind of fun, but are bogged down by the insane amounts of HP long before 下西アリス set foot anywhere near the community, and some of the bosses' attacks giving incredibly dense and unreadable RNG. Mario is credited as one of the worst ones in this regard, but the final boss especially can go fuck itself, due to being the longest fight in the whole game (excluding Wario because Bruh), giving many more opportunities for such blockades to occur, which is just as unfun as it sounds.
The aesthetics also heavily resemble that of the source materials, and you know what that means—dark green visuals all the way. I like how authentic it looks, but other than that, it just looks really ugly. The overall production value is still really poor besides this, though; for a game of this age, this is also to be expected. Restarting music as well, so have fun dealing with that.
The game also has a bunch of secrets to find (11 in total), mostly hidden behind walls. Some of these are honestly contenders for the worst part of the whole game, because holy fuck these are stupidly designed, the Tetris secret in particular is VERY far down there. However, most of the rest were fine-ish, but I absolutely do not recommend going for all of them.
Despite all the complaints I have with the game, there is still a lot to enjoy about it. The game showcases a lot of creativity and original ideas, as I said earlier. Not many fangame reference points existed at the time, so this game had very little to work off of in terms of that, and yet Ashimoto still managed to come up with this many ideas to put into the game. Which, if you ask me, is kind of an accomplishment.
The irony about that is the amount of works that would come out at a later point, and take inspiration from this game. It is an old classic, so of course that is to be expected. The most common example is, of course, the opening rooms, used countless times in fangame after fangame, to the point where there was literally an entire fangame, I Wanna Be The GBC, made just around this one room! (honestly, why were you ever expecting me NOT to plug that here)
So overall, if you are the kind of person to enjoy older adventure fangames like this, and the charm they give off, this game has many elements that are sure to please you.
With that being said, the game is still very outdated in terms of design, so your perspective on fangames is gonna very heavily determine whether you see this as a masterpiece or as a mess. If you are one to enjoy this style of games, this game is perfect for you, but otherwise, I wouldn't recommend this one unless you have the patience to deal with it. And believe me when I say, you will need patience to deal with this, especially if you actually do decide to go for the secret items.

Game comes with Z/X controls by default, so put this into the "controls" file in place of what is already there to fix it:

Quite possibly this maker's objectively worst game.
Two screens of a bunch of generic jumps, mainly planes and ledges and inverts. That's literally all it is.
Of course, you won't be able to experience much of that, due to the jump in save 2 that got so infamous that it's literally the only the only reason people know about this game, and thus named the "Leehe triple diamond" accordingly.
To top it all off, the game lacks Leehe's trademark visual style, instead opting for default Guy Castle bricks and star background. Did I mention the music (or lack thereof)?
Overall, don't even bother. Literally no effort was put into this, his other games are light years better than this.
