For: The Maker Medley
For: The Maker Medley
An interesting twist on the medley formula, using screens exclusively from I Wanna Maker, rather than other fangames. It uses some real highlights of what the IWM community has brought to the game, from Reveal SpoilerThwomp Buddy to Reveal SpoilerFlappy Bird and everything in between.
As is also the case with medleys, the different stages are also integrated into the bosses, and the game does this in such creative ways that fit in so well with the boss.
While the "original" content Reveal Spoilermay not actually be entirely deserving of that description, it still puts an interesting twist on past ideas to create fun gameplay that flows well together.
If you've ever felt like intentionally heading down the IWM pipeline, or are just looking for something to play, this will definitely give you an enjoyable couple of hours.

Super old adventure game made by Miracle. There are 6 stages as of now, and you don't unlock anything after beating all of them, so my instinct is telling me that this game is just unfinished. The game itself is nothing memorable, and the generic spike traps do get on your nerves after a while, but other than that, nothing too overly offensive. I'd recommend this one if you are ever curious, or if you just feel like killing some time with a fangame.

For: I wanna be the TH
Rating based on version 0.25, which only has one of the at least 4 planned avoidances in the game, set to Y丸氏's "Demystify Feast -Speedy Devil-".
An interesting barrage fangame. Looking at the only boss that exists so far, it's definitely enjoyable enough to warrant a download. It has good attack variety over the song's 3-minute span, and most of the attacks manage to be creative and fun. However, my main issue comes in the balancing aspect. The beginning attacks of the fight are the hardest part, and after that, it's basically free until the ending attack. I was considering lowering my review score because of this, but given how fun the game still is, I decided not to.
If you're someone that likes older style of barrage fangames, this will be a good fit for you.

This game is basically what would happen if you took IWBTG and slapped Jelly Mario's physics on top of it.
It's actually kind of funny for the most part, but it doesn't really go anywhere with it.
The game's design as a whole differs wildly from that of Jelly Mario. In that game, you could interact with practically everything and see it jiggle, but since IWBTG was designed so differently from Super Mario Bros, sibei needed to do without that part, and make everything a killer instead. I agree with roaming97 that the lack of interactive objects is kind of a disappointment, but at the same time, I like this approach better. No longer can you get caught off-guard by enemies coming from offscreen while you're stuck in the ground with nothing to do about it. Because of this, I actually like this game more than Jelly Mario.
At the same time, though, I'm kind of disappointed that the game doesn't go far enough with what it does. Of the 2 levels in the game, neither of them really do anything special. I think if more was done with this idea, then sibei would definitely be onto something. However, for what we do have here, I still think it does a good job at creating an IWBTG equivalent for Jelly Mario.
Also PLEASE fix the audio balancing in the Guy Tower, the Game Over music jumpscares me every time.
Overall, if you're into weird fangame concepts, then definitely give this one a try, but don't expect anything mind-blowing.

Yahoo 2: Electric Boingaloo
The sequel to the original Yahoo, but this time Reshino also enlisted the help of Sora and Betty to help make it.
-The first thing to note is obviously, the sound design. The jump sound from the first game returns in all its glory, but the death sound has been replaced with a booming thud sound. This can obviously get very annoying after a while, unless you're like me and just get used to it.
-The first stage is by Sora, and is a rather short one with only one screen and a short avoidance. The reversing controls gimmick isn't interesting at first, but it does get used in some cool ways, along with the traps. The avoidance continues with this design and makes you flip up and down the whole time, while dodging everything in your path. The RNG here can be kind of bullshit sometimes, but it was otherwise ok.
-Betty's entry into this game is one not unlike the gameplay of I Wanna Kill The Guy. Here, some spikes and blocks disappear and reappear when you jump. This is used in really clever ways that makes you think about where you are going. However, the infamous Yahoo! Japan boss is a much different story. It's split up into 6 phases, each built around a different part of the Yahoo! logo. The phases themselves are all mostly fair, with the exception of A which has the potential to immediately decimate your face the moment it begins, and H which I'm still not sure how it works. Reveal SpoilerWatch out for the exclamation point at the end!
-Finally, Reshino made a target practice stage. You only get one shot to hit a target, otherwise you have to restart. The different challenges are mostly centered around moving blockades, tight spaces, or any combination of both. The timing is often difficult to figure out, or you can just bruteforce through everything. Either way, it's mostly a good use of an interesting concept, as is to be expected from Reshino. And then there's the boss, which, lol
After you beat all 3 stages, you unlock a final stage, with a short part made by all 3 of the makers from before.
-Rather than taking the reverse-direction gimmick from before, Sora made an all-new stage built around a black-and-white switching gimmick à la Device. The platforming was mostly good, but the gimmick didn't do very much to make it more interesting, save for when you have to shoot a switch mid-drop.
-Betty also takes a slight deviation from his original stage and now focuses more on traps than switching blocks. I will admit I found these traps really well-made and not annoying, but the Reveal Spoilerjump through the ceiling is a bit hard to find out what to do. Then, you enter a quiz stage, which gets more difficult as it goes on, but is still easy to brute-force through, as the game gives you more than enough time to check every possible answer.
-Reshino, however, continues with the target shooting gimmick. This time, he goes even further with the combinations between precision and moving barriers. It's still equally easy to bruteforce through, but otherwise, good luck getting this one down. The final boss is just as pathetic as the first time, but this time you actually have to shoot him.
Overall, this game definitely did a lot of things between the 3 makers responsible for it. If there's anything that would really turn you away from this game, it would be the jump sound. But otherwise, definitely recommended to adventure fans.

I basically agree with what IanBoy141 said about this game. It still is interesting and reflects dagger's design philosophy well, but the execution leaves a lot to be desired. Not particularly recommended unless you're interested in everything that dagger's library has to offer, but otherwise, you won't really have that good of a time with this game.
