an easy and relatively straightforward adventure game with a few unique ideas that are explored well. the entire gimmick is that the kid is split into two - one that can double jump and one that shoot. these are mutually exclusive, meaning for most of the game the kid you control only has one of these powers. only at the end do they merge [sic] and form a kid that can do both. despite your abilities being inherently nerfed, the game makes use of this in interesting ways. my favorite way the game utilizes this was the first boss - utilizing both abilities to their fullest. most of the game is platforming and puzzle solving essentially. the puzzles are nothing too hard and the game is generally relaxing to play outside of a few traps that force you to move quickly

lower-quality yoyo 'short game' with some needle, some secrets and a somewhat underwhelming boss. there isn't a lot going on, but the platforming consists of corridor needle with no save blockers allowing you to save essentially anywhere. it stretches on for longer than usual and visually isn't anything too special
avoidance is notable in the sense that it uses spikes. now there are two (2) avoidances that I can name that use spikes as a primary bullet: 2006 and Aiwana 2 (this game)

fun ftfa-like on the easier side, proving it’s possible to make fun and interesting easy ftfa-like needle. this game is the most ftfa-like ftfa-like out there - it bears the most resemblance to the original and doesn’t stray far from the original ideas imposed in FTFA. notably, the game is very easy in terms of ftfa-likes. it’s one of the easiest games in the entire genre, but this doesn’t stop it from being one of the most fun ones out there. a lot of easier games in genres often dominated by hard games struggle to find their place in said genres due to their low difficulty. this game doesn’t. it perfectly emulates what most would imagine when they think of an easy ftfa-like. obviously, the game isn’t super easy - 66 isn’t childsplay, there are people who this game would be too hard for
despite the rather irritating engine inhibiting proper screen resizing, the game doesn’t have any particularly bad jumps which stick out to be extremely or unreasonably difficult for the difficulty it’s at. most jumps have some sort of leeway and aren’t a bunch of forced framecounts. screen 4 is likely my favorite, as it’s the hardest and goes ‘quite out there’ with the gameplay, allowing for some previously never before seen things in this game. the last jump is quite mean, but I managed to first try the entire left side of screen 4 (as in, everything past the long jump) and didn’t have any trouble with the screen. from what I can tell, it’s by far the hardest one - again, very similarly to FTFA
highly recommended, super fun!!

fun and difficult save with some intuitive and fairly simple jumps and a pleasant tileset that isn't too hard on the eyes. the game has built-in practice in the form of a difficulty select option, allowing you to easily swap between attempts and practice. every jump is pretty consistent and of similar difficulty, meaning you won't find yourself dying repeatedly to specific jumps. the align grab is pretty creative and I like the jump to get back, it's very satisfying
a fun, simple and well-made game for what it tries to be

strange and easy yoyo game with some bad needle and a weird boss. it has next to no cohesion and is very short. the entire game consists of a few screens of needle and one awkwardly made boss where you shoot cherries to make bigger cherries die eventually. seems like a worse version of other yoyo short games (i.e. Ethanol)

the version of 120 dreams with saves, aka the only currently cleared version of 120 dreams. original one-save version hasn't been done yet and I don't think it will be for a considerable time. it would be such a painfully boring experience that I doubt anyone could sit it out all the way through to the end. as for the game itself, it's just a ton of generic jumps that you've seen before hundreds, if not thousands of times

fair warning: this game is overrated in difficulty in my personal opinion and isn't quite 70
the strangest game by Abi, as it doesn't fit the style of any of his other games. he isn't particularly known to be a precision maker, more so an adventure and avoidance maker. seeing him try precision leads to this game. a mess of sorts, having a bunch of random jumps which heavily involve corners, planes, diamonds, etc. the most creative save is the water save, and also the hardest one. last one is quite cool too, that movement is quite slick. something interesting I found is that a valign of <.40 makes it somewhat easier. doing a lowcancel achieves this essentially every time without fail

simple Miku avoidance with some RNG and light patterns. not much of note other than very harsh visual effects that strain your eyes if played for a while. most of the difficulty comes from the patterns which work in slightly odd ways but aren't anything too confusing

Yoyo has always had some sort of obsession with long collectathon games. he has at least 3 games where the main gimmick is that there exist a ton of collectibles strewn throughout a bunch of stages with some bosses sprinkled in, and your job is to obtain all the collectibles and beat the bosses. this is a concept that's not often explored in fangames, as it's somewhat difficult to pull off - or it could be that it isn't a very interesting idea to some. Time Characters does it the best out of any game that tries this concept. the item placements vary from entirely unoriginal (just being behind some needle) to very original (restricting the player's movement in some way for a given save, doing several saves in a row, etc). these spice up the game's rather plain and simple nature. the items are hidden everywhere, nearly every screen has at least a few. there's 100 in total and 100%ing the game requires getting all of them and beating the final boss. there's a notably bad item though, that being the infamous RNG item. it has a pitifully low chance to hit, rivalling that of the worst gacha games out there (0.000021% or 1 in 47620). you have to hit 6x 1 in 6 chances in a row, with a rate of about 2 per second with optimal rolls. it's essentially a slot machine that you play repeatedly and hope for the best. this took me about 1.5 hours of constant rolls. maybe perhaps my luck isn't the greatest, but expect quite a lot of waiting around
the platforming is classic yoyo needle - very simple and fun. perhaps not the most intuitive, but it definitely has a charm to it that anyone can enjoy. I really like this style of needle, it doesn't really try to do much of anything too wacky and wild and sticks to what its good at. some people would call it boring, but I'd call it fun. on the other hand, the bosses aren't very notable and mostly boil down to a bunch of RNG attacks in true Yoyo fashion

pretty basic adventure game with not a ton going on. the platforming is sub-par and kind of annoying due to the bad engine not registering jumps properly after bonking. this is made especially apparent when you have to do jumps that require two quick and successive jumps, the first of which has to bonk. this sounds overly specific but you have to do these more often than you'd think. there's random traps everywhere and a gimmick every once in a while. the bosses are strange and not too well made, as some of them start off with either a weirdly small healthbar or already half-dead. one of the bosses (Sakuya) lags heavily, to amounts less than 1fps at some points. the true final boss, Miku, is just a mediocre and somewhat old Miku avoidance with not a ton going on. the line attack is notably weird as its seeded.. but the way it's seeded depends on the length of each line when it stops. I've never seen this happen before in any avoidance I've ever played
