For: I Wanna Lose Brain Cells
For: I Wanna Lose Brain Cells
Probably one of my favourite sudoku games out there. Lose Brain Cells does what the name implies. Throughout your journey you'll be assaulted by chickens, solve dastardly puzzles, battle against Sonic characters that I refuse to believe aren't just fanfiction and maybe even learn a thing or two about friendship.
It's really just a great time though. If you're not a fan of sudoku then this probably won't do a great deal to change your mind, but if you do get even a little enjoyment out of it then I think you'll have a memorable time with this. The stage variety is fresh, there's a whole bunch of wacky ideas and in a very strange way the game feels pretty balanced. It feels like a game that shouldn't really be good, but it kind of is. Sorta.
This wins the award for best sudoku game of Butterfinger's Paradise 2019. Never forget the good times.

For: I wanna kill the 2sweepor
For: I wanna kill the 2sweepor
The next entry in Erik's Sweepor medley series, Kill the 2sweepor is yet another medley bursting with sudoku content, even featuring a lot of newer sudoku makers such as the dashing Mr. Butterfingers and his exquisite design, which really had a staggering positive impact on the overall quality of the game.
It's a very solid sudoku medley though, and one that I found myself enjoying almost all the way throughout. I'm very hit or miss with sudoku stuff, but there were only a small handful of parts I wasn't too into. The guest stages in particular were memorable and different enough from each other to not feel like a slog, although my personal favourite is probably Soapbar with the climactic ending it presents to the player.
I feel like the first stage of the game was actually one of the hardest parts, for me at least. Idealize the Unknown could probably have done with a save on the second screen, due to it being kinda lengthy already and somewhat confusing. In regards to the guest stages, p00ks had the longest stage by far which felt a bit odd, and Echomask's stage got kinda confusing at times (although for the most part, in a good way). Like I mentioned earlier though, I did enjoy all of them for the most part and don't have a whole lot of complaints.
Overall a very solid sudoku game. Definitely worth playing if you're into that kind of thing.

For: I want to harvest the potato
For: I want to harvest the potato
Harvest the Potato is a pleasant little needle game focused primarily on long saves. The general jump difficulty never peaks too high, although there are a couple saves that feel longer than others and overall more problematic.
The visuals are very comfy, with a nice spotlight effect in the introduction leading into some simplistic and pleasing colours in the main segment. There aren't a whole lot of gimmicks, with water and platforms making a few appearances. I particularly liked the moving water segment, although maybe my bias towards moving water-rides in needle is showing through.
If you're into long saves then you'll probably enjoy this. There are also other difficulties which likely add more saves, although I didn't experiment with them enough to comment.

For: I wanna be Compared
For: I wanna be Compared
Compared is a pretty short needle game consisting of around 5 screens with some platforms sprinkled around to mix it up a bit, particularly on the final screen.
The jumps themselves are pretty interestingly designed and felt well though out, having nice set-ups or even alternative options in a couple of segments. In general they just felt satisfying to pull off, which is always what I want in needle.
It may have been how I was playing on the day, but the first screen felt weirdly harder to me than the rest. Likely a personal issue though, and the difficulty felt mostly consistent throughout. It was a shame to see it end so suddenly, and the short selection of screens with just the single tileset and accompanying song make it stand out less than Hector's other games for me, but I still had a fun time with it.

For: I wanna kill the 2doku
Kill the 2doku is a pretty lengthy medley full of sudoku content to warm your heart and soul. Every screen is pretty vastly different in terms of visuals and at times difficulty, but they all keep that lovable old questionable content in their core.
I enjoyed a good handful of the game, and some of the screen picks didn't actually seem all that bad given the nature of the game. There were a few stinkers though, and I particularly wasn't fond of the overly visually-busy screens and some awkward segments towards the end. I have to give a special shout-out to my main man Zanto for his flawless guest stage as well.
If you're a fan of sudoku games, you'll probably find some stuff in here to enjoy, alongside losing all meaning of the word "bogus".
