For: i wanna go the jack world
A very wacky game with incredibly simple platforming ripped from I Wanna be the Air, and bosses with often absurd amounts of HP and zany design choices, some more than others.
Jack World features 8 or so stages where the main highlight of all will generally be the boss fight. I used autofire on the bosses as was recommended to me, although they're no doubt doable without (you'd be a hero to do so though). Some bosses were trivial but there were a few standouts, most notably the particular encounter where you'll leave the fight with less knowledge of life and existence than you had going into it.
Has some very memorable parts, but for the most part wasn't anything too enjoyable.

If you ever found yourself in your day to day life feeling like you wanted to Guy Cosmo but just couldn't quite find the outlet for your desires, well look no further. By the end of this experience, you will indeed, Guy Cosmo.
It's a short little sudoku-tier game consisting of a few stages and bosses, each with their own dazzling display of creativeness. It is what you'd expect, although some parts were pretty amusing with their simplistic absurdness. I also very much enjoyed how the ending make sense of the whole story, and brought newfound revelations to light.
Some parts did get kind of frustrating, and the platform climb segment where you're just mashing jump for what felt like 30 seconds every attempt only to see the block fly off above you got old very quickly for me. I feel like I just had a personal trouble with this that maybe others didn't run into, but it started to ache my hand after a little bit.
I kind of liked it, for a sudoku game at least. I am always hit or miss with sudoku'ish games but this one had some fun and creativeness scattered throughout it which made it enjoyable enough. I look forward to Midnight's next work of art.

For: I wanna brake the Eight beelzebubs
A rollercoaster ride through quirky gimmicks and content that probably shouldn't exist but it does regardless. Eight Beelzebubs features a really weird variety of content, all packed in a multitude of fairly short stages that fly rapidly from one to the next.
The game opens with a pretty eye raising stage, but as the game goes on it brings a lot of things to the table. Some personal highlights include the bee honey stage and the cloud collectathon stage. There are also some real clangers too which I wasn't too fond of, such as the questionable pause-playing stepmania stage. A good chunk of the stages are also primarily trap focused and don't feature any gimmicks worth nothing, but they still have some oldschool charm to them that I ended up enjoying.
It's kind of a weird game, but I liked it more than I thought I was going to. If you're looking for a weird mixture of oldschool ideas and design styles then you'll probably have a decent time with this one.

For: I wanna be Myself
For: I wanna be Myself
Be Myself is a very well produced game, full of gimmicks, varied stages, mind-bending plot twists and even a lesson or two about friendship. My enjoyment varied quite frequently due to the general level and boss design not always being my kinda thing, but I can appreciate the game for what it is and can definitely say it's a memorable fangame experience.
The game's primary gimmick of sorts features you being able to swap between a small selection of characters, each with their own powers and drawbacks. The variation between these characters is pretty cool, and the stages are usually designed in a way that requires you to switch on the fly which makes the platforming feel quite fast-paced. Bosses are done similarly, making use of attacks that force you to think fast and make use of your little squad of scallywags.
I felt like the game design in general got better for me towards the end, particularly in the boss fights. Some of the earlier bosses felt quite tedious and drawn-out for me and ended up feeling like they could've done with a lot less HP. The last few in the game though I loved and thought were very intense, making good use of the character switching. I also enjoyed the general platforming more in the later stages, as some early parts (particularly chapter 2) just didn't feel all that fun to play. I think this is mainly just a personal preference though.
I wasn't crazy about a good portion of the design in the game, but I could still appreciate it a great deal. The ambitious story and the wide variety of content including puzzles and bonus challenges make for a memorable time, and I really do wish I enjoyed it more than I did. Maybe if the game ever gets finished, SirRouven will polish up the game's weak spots and round off the game to a great state. Even still, it's well worth a play as it is.

For: Chill Needle 2
Definitely my favourite Arzztt game (so far at least), and it's not just because of the inclusion of my beloved Pastel spike gimmick either. Chill Needle 2 has a nice collection of stages, each focusing heavily on a particular gimmick which accompanies well thought out and enjoyable level design, making for a great fangame experience.
A big standout were the large maze-like rooms, particularly those which make usage of the earlier established gimmicks. It was also a very nice quality of life feature having access to an overall view of the room, which helped for figuring out the way forward. As always, the VVVVVV gimmick is used very well throughout, which has became Arz's signature technique in fangame making these days.
It was also nice to see some bosses scattered throughout, ending their respective stages quite nicely. I'm not sure if I'd really call this a negative, but they did for the most part feel rather easy and thus went by almost too fast, leaving me with not too much to remember them by at least comparative to the difficulty of the platforming. They were though still fun and void of any insta-gibs or blatant questionable decision choices, so I had a good time.
Overall a great fangame. I always enjoy Arz's design and if we're going off impressive sequels, it's definitely a large step up from Chill Needle, so I look forward to whatever follows in the future!
