An interesting twist on RNG games such as Rand and Wand, where each screen takes a theme and gimmick from a screen pick of Kamilia 2. The game doesn't pick every screen, presumably because there's a decent handful that just aren't that unique, but the ones it does include lend themselves very well to the random-layout format.
Only a couple of rooms felt particularly rough for me, and the variety of each room's gimmick or design helps keep the format from growing stale. I'd certainly say it's harder than Rand and Wand, purely by design of some of the room gimmicks and the challenge that poses with random layouts.
If you're a fan of that kind of design then it's definitely worth checking out.

A relatively short (3 minutes or so) avoidance, where you support Badlands in his journey to chug a sheer astounding number of soft drinks, each more challenging than the last. What Badlands attempts to achieve in the final 20 seconds of the avoidance had me on the edge of my seat, and it's worth playing for that alone.

For: I Wanna Get The Coins
Get the Coins wears the Charr-inspiration on its sleeve, as you venture throughout a multitude of alphabet-ordered stages, each with their own theme and twist that separate it from the rest. It's always fun seeing what the next letter will bring, and the length of each stage ensures no letter ever outstays its welcome. You can bounce from some relatively standard (yet enjoyable) platforming with a few moving hazards or spikes, into some weird spot-the-difference games, or even a trap-filled Orbit homage. There's a secret in each stage too if you want to go the extra mile and do some digging.
The game does also primarily stick to a Mario theme which whilst not a weak point, might've been to my personal distaste, as I felt the visuals and music variety grew rather stale as I progressed through the game. I think the nature of this type of game lends itself extremely well to the variety spread and doing different things, and I would've enjoyed seeing more of this in the area themes and musical selections to help make each new level feel truly different from one another.
Definitely worth a shot if you like a bit of variety, and also if Charr appealed to you but you'd prefer something a little easier and more forgiving.

For: I wanna Nukeru Spike
Nukeru Spike is a great Uhuhu/Dandy/etc-style needle game with some design choices that distinguish it nicely amongst the rest, with a moderately heavy emphasis on triggers or moving obstacles, without ever straying too far away from the slightly irregular but vanilla needle style this kind of game is known for. It doesn't necessarily break the mould or stray too far from the roots of the needle sub-genre, but what it aims for it accomplishes very nicely, making for a short, fun and relatively complaint-free needle experience.
Would be cool to see this follow the trilogy trend of other music-medley art-spike needle series. Going off of history, that means Nukeru Spike 2 would be even better than the first! One day, maybe...

For: I Wanna Catch the Clown
Catch the Clown is a rather unique platforming-focused game with a fair mix of relatively simple but effective gimmicks, used in tandem with a charmingly presented premise to make for a pretty memorable game. It even ended up being one that I cared enough to beat it on all 3 difficulties (as the respective changes extend towards actual platforming and boss changes, rather than the typical save re-balancing).
The nature of each respective gimmick in unison almost makes some elements feel like you're playing a pattern avoidance in platforming form, which can really go either way depending on the design, but I think in this instance it felt very satisfying to come up with strategies for. This could then be refined even further on a higher difficulty playthrough. These challenges are often mixed up with different elements and even a couple of quirky twists and bosses along the way. There's even an extra boss which I found particularly fun, and I'd strongly recommend giving that a try as I found the attack design to be super enjoyable.
The game also jumps out at me for having a really unique mix of some charming oldschool-ish PC aesthetic designs, overlayed with some really polished and impressive visual flair to balance it somewhere between retro and extremely modern. The side shot of the car riding as the sunset shines behind it is a particular visual highlight for me.
Definitely worth a look if you want some platforming that might stray out of your comfort zone, whilst throwing you a couple of surprises along the way!
