The quirky sequel? alternate story? to cocktail. Its possibly even zanier but a bit rough around the edges. Overall I loved the quirkiness and the feeling that 'no idea whats coming' but a lot of it was short lived.
Production is great, platforming is a bit iffy but barely exists. The bosses are without a doubt the highlight and have some solid variety and fun interesting stuff. Recommended to those who like relatively easy bosses and anyone who liked cocktail as the references are fun.

Definitely a suitable sequel.
This is a chaotic mess of a game, in the style of anything goes. I came into this similar to burnmind, I don't expect to enjoy all of it and I expect to get annoyed by many of the visual, audio choices and memes, but I also come in looking for crazy and creative gameplay concepts and it generally has that in spades.
Its not all good on that front, and one of the aspects of this that hurts it relative to its predecessor for me is that a lot of the stuff blurs together in its craziness, but typically a handful of things will stand out and be what you remember most. In this, unfortunately, the most memorable part is the part I liked the least. It isn't representative of the game as a whole (as nothing could be) but its still a factor in my feelings about the game.
Ultimately, there's a ton of fun stuff and some really annoying trash throughout - some intentional and some probably not - but it definitely leans a bit more towards the former, which is good. Its exhausting at times and absolutely requires some tolerance for the absurd, but if you're able to manage that, its worth playing.

Rating based on good end? i guess i'd call it. Thanks to shign for the translated version (see his review), definitely makes a difference on this game.
Its a very unique adventure game, playing very heavily into theming which is not that common in the fangame world, and it does it well. This is probably its main strength, and sometimes comes at the cost of gameplay but I would say is worth it.
Production-wise, its very solid and lends itself towards its goals. The soundtrack is very fitting for the horror atmosphere and the sound effects are well chosen to be sharp and alarming, again playing into its theming.
The platforming is very varied and while isn't always the most deep design-wise, the variety and unexpectedness of it keeps it interesting, especially with the atmosphere. It stays consistently good which is important since there's a bit of backtracking/repeating required throughout the game. Even with the translation, it isn't always entirely clear where you're going, so its recommended that you like exploring a bit.
The bosses a bit of a mixed bag, but generally are not hard enough to present to be a problem - even likely for a newer player, as most of the hardest attacks are pattern attacks that just take a bit of learning. Again, theming and visual/audio design is amazing here, but the pacing/attacks can frequently come up short.
Overall, I definitely enjoyed it and I find very importantly for myself is that this is a very memorable game, something I put a lot of value into. It does a great job setting itself apart from other fangames and knows what its trying to do, and does it well. I'd definitely recommend this to anyone looking for generally an easier, hefty adventure game and doesn't mind a little spooky.

A medley game of sorts that decides to go a different way.
In general, I really like a number of the ideas in this game, but a lot of the execution was a bit all over.
Production-wise, this game does basically everything it needs you to do (short of post-game access, but that's not the biggest deal) for basic play, though some of the engine features seemed to be a bit strange.
The vast majority of the game is platforming, typically featuring new twists on extremely well known screens, which was a nice idea though a lot of them were not the most interesting. One major issue here is the screen picks were... confusing to me and despite having a clearlist from a player with a wide variety of games beaten, a lot of them just kind of ended up falling into a couple categories and seemed to have little to no relevance to nogard at all (besides picking some of his least favorite games, which is a curious approach) and basically all of the makers games. Overall, lots of highs here (especially the original content) but also just a ton of not very engaging needle. Additionally there are some bonus achievements/secrets which really just resort to even more plain old standard needle. The concept of the game had so much room to work with, and the best parts for me were the ones that made use of that, doing unexpected things.
The bosses were predominantly short interludes, which was a nice bit of variety to add in, with the exception of the final boss which was a larger, more fleshed out boss which served as a nice finale.
Overall, though I'd say there's some mixed quality, it stays consistently atleast playable, and has some great parts along the way. I'd love to see more done with the idea, as I'm a big fan of not just taking screens but reinterpreting them.

Decent little two stage game. One stage featuring fairly typical needle platforming with a little production and flair, the other featuring some long saves with a simple gimmick about figuring out paths around the screen to clean up various obstacles.
Nothing too standout, but its fun enough for a quick 30 minute playthrough.
