Decided to pull this out of the old timer archives because I'd heard good things about it. It's easy to see why this game was regarded as good but it does not stand the test of time - not even a little. I'd venture to say this is one of the worst fangaming experiences I've actually had. Its not the game is purely bad, but it was not enjoyable and had just the right level of good parts to make you wonder if you should keep trudging through it which made me dislike it even more as it went on.
Everything about it feels like it has the right level of quality to seem like it could be good, but actually be bad. Production value looks alright, but some of the visuals just serve to make the gameplay worse. Additionally, it uses assets from other games well, then mixes them with generic garbage that feels horribly out of place and half-assed. It has some well implemented sound effects but audio quality is mediocre and music restarts (as to be expected of the era).
It starts off with an interesting premise and leads to what seems like it would be an interesting concept which pulls you in but every idea feels designed worse and implemented poorly. Save positioning is bad, save balance is terrible, there's maybe one decent trap per dozen almost to justify all the garbage ones. Most of the gimmicks aren't necessarily bad, but are poorly utilized and there's platforming sections peppered with completely unnecessary tedious RNG too.
Don't bother playing this game, there's so much better out there these days. This game is basically run the marathon except where everything is done wrong. There's a lot of ideas and effort in here which I credit it for, but it definitely wasn't any fun.

The needle feels really good, though I can't really put my finger on it. It consists of single screen saves that balance well between being never boring and never grindy.
The boss is kind of tedious but its not really the reason to play the game, though its at least creative.

Disclaimer: I shelved the game on the final boss after getting a pretty thorough representation of what it included. (Not because the boss is bad necessarily, mind you, just longer and harder than I was interested in)
This is a real monster of a game in many ways. Its very long, very diverse and very difficult. I decided to play it after seeing early parts of it because to some extent it was the kind of game I was looking for. Frequently the 'puzzle-platformer' genre seems to tone down the puzzle side in lieu of the platformer side. Alternatively, a lot of fangame 'puzzles' degrade into pretty much trial and error - this game manages to (for the most part) stray away from either of those.
Pros:
This game has fantastic production including what seems to be a ton of original spritework with almost every stage having its own well-executed aesthetic and sound effects. The puzzles are, without a doubt, the highlight of the game and nearly every puzzle stage has a lot to admire and enjoy and the creator constantly adds new mechanics and reveals new interactions between the puzzle elements to keep it interesting. One exception, unfortunately, is a stage that for some reason adds no new concepts for its duration and is particularly tedious The platforming stages are also really neat and quite memorable.
Mixed:
The bosses are a mixed bag. They largely incorporate the stage gimmick (which I love to see) and usually have a particularly unique mechanic which makes them interesting. These also usually result in bosses that require styles of play and methods of thinking about the fights that are far from the fangame standard - a risky proposition. Given that, the majority of them are good because of this. However, not all and some of these end up being quite problematic. Thus, if you're expecting to get all the way through you will need to prepare yourself for a couple grinds.
Cons:
The difficulty. I'll admit outright that I'm not the best fangame player and generally don't play the most difficult games. This is not a case of this. There are a lot of things that feel like they exist only to make the game take longer and be more difficult without adding anything of value. Mechanics which seek to punish the player without making the puzzles more difficult, just more tedious to execute and force repeated attempts. One stage even just jams in sections where you basically just kind of stand there and do nothing for 5-10 seconds at a time each attempt, too. This is compounded by the fact that it happens in very long segments (some saves in this game take several minutes when done quickly).
Summary:
This is a really good game, but its not for everyone. I got a lot out of it and have huge respect for the maker for what he created. He did something very different from the norm and did it well. It also represents a kind of fangame I've wanted to make myself. There are some serious flaws though. However, the good parts are so good that I thought it was worth working past them (to the extent that I rebuilt my own version of one of the puzzle mechanics so that I could attempt and solve the puzzles by bypassing the tedious punishment mechanics present in the game).
If you're the kind of person who doesn't mind not finishing games then I would absolutely recommend the first 5 stages to anyone. Its almost all stellar up to that point and there's tons of cool stuff to see and that I'd love to see inspire people to consider in future releases. Continuing from that point though, I would tread carefully. For the difficulty junkies who want to prove something or those who like puzzles enough to trudge through some muck then this game is absolutely for you.

Its a neat little game with 3 short stages with primarily standard tiles/sprites, each with a boss at the end, a handful of traps and a few classic gimmicks and a cute little ending.
I'd recommend it to a newer player trying to get a feel for a bunch of things as it tosses a handful of the basics at you - vines and water, reactable spike traps, finding hidden blocks, apple patterns and some common style boss attacks.

Another fantastic production from Mattin with a little more classic fangame feel than his other works.
Production is great throughout, the two parts standing out to me being his continually great implementation of well executed, detailed backgrounds and a good use of sound effects.
The real highlight of this game for me was the platforming. There's an immense amount of variety, with essentially a new gimmick every other screen/save, if not more often. They'll cycle in and out and he'll match certain aspects together creating a great feel where you're always encountering something different, but fair enough that you're not getting stalled by it.
The bosses are the weak point of the game, but they're by no means bad. They fit the difficulty very well and are incredibly well produced. The drawback being they are very formulaic. Its a proven formula, and again by no means bad, but they end up feeling kind of the same because of it. There's also some cool depths effects that look neat, but play a little strange. Still, the fights are very fair and still interesting.
Overall, this is a game that's worth your time with great design, production and exemplary platforming and very accessible to all skill levels - newer players will find plenty of interesting challenges but shouldn't get stuck and experienced players will encounter enough new things to tackle that they won't just breeze through and be bored.
