Iconic game, one of the most well known beginner avoidances. It doesn't particularly stand out but it's got fun chill attacks and I think a beginner would be engaged throughout their time with it. There's better beginner games of course but it's still cute and fun.

Cool and short game, each game is centered around a different gimmick and there's some cool ones, the grass stage I felt had a really cool layout and was fun to traverse, the green stage had some fun stuff and I really loved the boss of that stage even though it's quite simple, the other stages I also liked although not to the degree of those two, the yellow stage is notable for how silly it is, especially the IWBTG room. Final stage was probably a low point although the boss is good, I like the bosses in general, easy and chill fights without being boring. Overall I had a good time, a few weak spots but still remained fun the whole time.

Regardless of how you feel about the gameplay, you have to admit that Candy is an incredibly unique avoidance which really stands out even among other high intensity difficult avoidances with just how strange it is. It opens pretty relaxed but then throws some really strange attacks at you with crazy visual effects, before a super minimalistic segment with silly patterns and then a super high energy bit which again feels different from the rest, and it just keeps going like this for it's entire 4 minute duration. It makes for quite the spectacle, one which is exhilarating to play at it's peaks and mildly frustrating and it's low moments.
This avoidance has a good mix of pattern attacks and RNG, it's actually a rare case (for me at least) where more things are pattern than I thought, although that's partially because the game was updated to make the more unreasonable stuff not random anymore. The patterns are really nice, tricky at times especially the pattern at the start of the chorus and the dropping pattern during the intermission, but they are all really consistent and fun, in particular that pattern at the start of the chorus is awesome in my opinion, feels amazing to get through and is satisfying every single time. The RNG is the more troubling part of the fight, a lot of the random attacks are really fun, but it's undeniable this avoidance suffers from balance issues, which leads to my one complaint. The intro segment before the black background part can feel really unfair and be really annoying to get stuck on, I wouldn't call it bad but these moments were by far the most annoying parts of playing this game, I minded the other bits like the absolutely brutal RNG all around the gradient background segment a lot less, although it's still a bit of an issue even if it's often extremely funny to see the absolute bullshit that can be thrown at you sometimes.
The ending of the avoidance is a bit odd, the game comes with practice for it which is interesting, I'll never know if I'd prefer it with or without practice but being able to learn all the patterns in this bit beforehand is nice, makes the game less grindy without resorting to making the ending a bunch of basic barrage attacks, although it is still less complex than the rest of the fight. I don't think the practice is objectively good but it has it's merits and is convenient. Overall I love this game, definitely recommend it if you got the skills, just be ready to get absolutely destroyed from time to time.

A game with a decent number of fun ideas, although not many are executed particularly well and some are just not very fun, in particular the bosses were a sour spot, with avoidances that are entirely memory without much of interest and two tedious cherry bosses, the other bosses were alright though, the 11 in particular was a fun concept. The platforming is okay, questionable at times but stuff like the rotating cherry circle stage was really fun in my opinion. Mizudori definitely has stronger games but this is not terrible by any means.

An absolutely insane avoidance, one which underneath a flashy and overwhelming exterior is brilliantly designed nearly everywhere you look. This game is primarily a pattern avoidance with sprinkles of randomness thrown about, there's a pretty big variety in attacks here with nearly every section offering it's own unique challenge, culminating in an over the top ending which is sure to leave an impression on any player.
This game is very learning heavy but it's surprisingly manageable for a few reasons, one of the biggest being the shield the game gives you which allows you to get past parts you might be struggling with so you can spend more time familiarizing yourself with these patterns. On top of that the patterns are surprisingly doable themselves, there's definitely a lot of visual information but you can break them down into a few simple motions that get very consistent with time. It's not easy to learn them, there were a few I was stuck on for over an hour of attempts before understanding, but you always have the feeling you are making progress.
The random attacks are also pretty fun to play, they too have a learning element in a lot of cases, some of them can be really really mean at times but the avoidance is mostly fair and almost every death to RNG is gonna be because you made a misread, which is really really easy to do at times. I also think the pacing of this fight is stellar, the intro is really high intensity but also the easiest part of the whole fight, which means you always have something to do during the beginning without getting stuck because you aren't paying attention right from the get go. There's also very brief moments where you get a tiny break, which work really well as a quick mental refresh before hopping right back in the action. It's little things like this which really make the game special, along with some cute easter eggs and of course an incredibly distinct personality. I think if you would be into this kind of avoidance, it is an absolute must play. This is truly a masterpiece.
