It seems it needed to be cemented in words - this game is extremely not beginner-friendly

At this rate i think i've done everything i truly want in this game, so let's make some review, shall we? K2W is incredibly interesting game - it tooks core of K2 and adds some K3 stage 5 gimmick on it. While this might sound quite junky, in reality i think makers did a really great job with implementation of gimmicks and create a fantastic reimagination of K2! I know it was sort of a joke project, but i think at the end of a day K2W can be appreciated as fully playable and enjoyable game
About content - pretty good for the most part. Stage 1 was fun introduction with a focus on conveyers, and for such controversial gimmick, result is pretty good. Stage 2 is definitely not for everyone - it's just a maze on every screen with a lot of trial and error, but for me it was as fun as goofy it is. Stage 3 is ice from Betty stage, kinda faded, but still solid. Stage 4 is secret 5 backtracking with different twists here and there - it was surpisingly cool. Stage 5 is my beloved Rukito style - makers definitely got his vibe. Stage 6 is probably the weakest one, since gimmick here is.. difficulty, lol. Yeah, stage 6 is noticeably harder than rest of previous platforming and felt kinda unispired, but whatever
Bosses are also genuinely very good. Volcano Zone and Guy are kinda not the best ones, but still has some interesting things in. Influka tho was amazing, remaking this boss into avoidance was imo very right decision, since track is banger; flow of avoidance is perfect as well. Geezer was way better than K2 version, i still kinda hated it, but ig it's just my issue. Solgryn was pretty fun, buffs were generally alright. Boss rush is diverse - i didn't enjoy Crimson that much, cause remaking Crimson in slow-paced clash was a mistake. Destination was kinda dooky at parts, but okay overall. Nue was glorious tho, with some really clever changes and addition of gradius ship definitely makes this a memorable fight. Gravityman was complete RNG-fiesta without even trying to be reasonable and i truly enjoyed it, lol
Then comes Big Kid - pretty good remake of the not the best original fight, here it's way more fast-paced, thrilling and fun. Chase was awkward, but has a charm for sure. M-stage was pretty alright, gimmick here is obviously stuff from K3 M-stage. And then final boss is 3 different phases, each has something to surprise player and each was very hard to overcome. I probably liked them in exact chronological order from 1 to 3; 3 has some obnoxious attacks, but it was still pretty decent ending point of the game
So yeah, any% was simply great. I can easily recommend it for everyone who loves K2 or K3 or medleys or just generally good games. There is also extra stuff here of course. So i collect every energy (basically K3 crystals) in a game - this is how you unlock extra stage. Energy was like 90 % alright, some of the examples were very very good, like Explorer one, or Tribute one (i'm psycho, yeah), or Lovetrap one, and so on. Less of them were bad, one of them - Seven Trials one - was disgusting and hardest by far. If you don't really interesting in extra stage i'd still recommend to try for collect at least some energy, it might ended up being fun
Extra stage is Shiny Spark maze hub that leads to 4 different bosses. One of them, infamous Blood Festival Miku. It got a lot of changes from original version, ended up being pretty raw barrage fight with a lot of hard attacks. This is the only avoidance from extra that i've cleared and i didn't regret. The rest of the fights are... hmmmm. One of them is Rin & Len from Destination, it's very hard and honestly it doesn't felt like enjoyable for me. Other one is Mario from Boshy... yeah. And the last one is DJ Sray from KTG. I'm not huge on rhythm games, so i doubt i will theoretically bother with that thing
If you beat everything of this tho, there will be last struggle - iconic Bottomless Abyss, insanely hard avoidance. While it looked great production-wise and has cool atmosphere for being a last thing in the game, it still doesn't hit me enough to overpass everything on a way to it. Just in case for someone who only looking for Abyss - there is separate version of this avoidance around, exactly the same as K2W one
So yeah, ironically as much as K3 extra is not for everione, same can be applied for K2W one. I still heavily liked main game and that's on what i based my final ratings. Cool experience, and great example of how you can make very interesting remakes of already good things

While i'm enjoying density avoidances a lot, this exact one has so much of skill floor to even begin to gain consistency, it's just insane. Of course, you can get lucky with passing peak difficulty attacks, but for some reason here it feels really unrewarding. I think this could be way better with proper balance of attacks, but yeah... no. Recommended for only extremely strong players

Based on 100 % clear. I expected some blatant low-tier adventure, and at the end of a day i'm quite surprised. This game goes far beyond my expectations. It's really really great adventure, that i had a lot of fun with!
Basically this game is 6 stages, each stage has a boss and a secret. After 6 stages there will be fork between final stage and extra stage. Let's talk about initial stages - they are all awesome. And i'm not really exaggerating - each stage has unique basic gimmick and game explores them quite well. This game definitely takes a lot of inspiration from Lovetrap - tilesets, crazy cycles, even bosses are kinda up there. Also traps of course - this game is really heavy on them, but i actually enjoyed like 80 % of them. Even generic flying spikes usually played in some smart way, and there's a lot of good trolls besides them. Some stuff even reminds me of Rukito platforming, which is huge checkmark for me
If we talk about stages individually - i really enjoyed gravity switches stage, which has a lot of fun stuff and not the usual usage of gimmick. Water stage is sheer reminiscent of Lovetrap/Charr with a lot of cycles and a lot of fun as well. Buttons stage was also pretty huge, very nicely delivered. See the Moon bars (they are field there) was also insanely great, probably even best of them, actually smart usage of those things mixed with great trap stuff. Regular stage (classic green/brown tyles) was good with some funny conveyers cameo. Black/white stage is probably weakest of bunch, but still pretty decent
Bosses are also quite great. They are references stages gimmicks which is always good, and they are doing it well. Gravity switch stage boss - yeah, there will be some gravity madness, but in very reasonable way. Water stage boss is fishy fish and it was enjoyable. Buttons stage boss is somewhat spiritual successor of Diverse paint girl - pretty interesting fight. See the Moon stage boss is Kracko and it was really great fight with usage of low gravity jump. Regular stage boss is classic tree - fun and short RNG-fiesta. Black/white stage is iconic bouncing Bad Apple with some funny twists through
Also secrets. Secrets are usually harder than regular platforming by quite a bit. What i really appreciate is that maker puts screens in game folder with locations of secrets - very very great design decision! I enjoyed all secrets, even tho some of them are quite obscure and like actually very hard needle-wise and also has some evil twists sometimes. Still pretty interesting and enjoyable
Then comes final stage with final boss. Final stage is structured in this way: one screen of generic needle with spotlight addition and then chaotic mini-avoidance section, where you usually need to get rid of all apples. Let me say it, it will be not easy and it will hurt your hands a bit because of pure mashing, but it was still very nice. Final boss is menacing apple, that has multiple colors with individual attacks, basically sort of Destination-like or even more accurately, reminiscent of Breaking Out intersection apple. It was pretty hard, way harder than other bosses, there were some patterns and RNG, and everything was interesting to learn and cool to execute
And of course, extra stage. He-he, i was totally not awared of what comes. Shmup arrived! So first section will be long avoidance endurance against different apples in shmup setting, while technically it's avoidance, you still need to shoot as many as you can and also you need to think about routing your movements, otherwise it will be unreasonable. And then after that, there will be EX final boss - Moriya Suwako with a lot of hard phases, that are also quite complicated and pretty dense RNG-wise. Extra was unique and fun, it's rarity to see that kind of gameplay in fangames, so always appreciated, especially when it's done good
And so, overall, i had very positive emotions from here. I can definitely recommend this for any old adventures enjoyers, who didn't care about big amount of traps or low production value, and can just enjoy the ride. I definitely spent some pretty fucking good time here
